Farmers Rice Milling Company is committed to quality through timely service, technology, people, and diversification of its operations. Its commitment to the rice industry reaches all aspects of the industry, from growing rice to marketing the finished product.

As part of this commitment, an affiliate company, Excalibur Land Company was established in August 1995 to manage 9,800 acres of farmland located adjacent to the milling operations. This land is primarily devoted to the production of rice and is farmed by tenants and Powell Farm Partners, another Powell company.

This unique bond between the milling and farming operations, the committed tenant acreage and the company operated farming operation allows Farmers Rice Milling Company a certain degree of flexibility to work closely with customers and marketers to develop rice products from seed to market.
